About Jason

Jason Mills

Jason was born and raised in Campobello, South Carolina. He grew up in church and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior when he was 12 years old. Though actively involved in his church in his teenage years, his Christian life was mediocre and gave way to outright rebellion towards God in college. At the age of 21, while attending North Greenville College, he rededicated his life to the Lord.

In 2000, Jason moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he joined the LifeLine Missions Internship program at Calvary of Albuquerque. He worked in the area of video and graphic design, and also served as a worship leader for the Sr. and Jr. High school ministries. During his time volunteering at Calvary of Albuquerque, Jason went on numerous mission trips to both Mexico and Panama. While in NM, he met Andrea, and in 2003 they married.

In 2004 Jason and Andrea moved to Montreal, Quebec to help plant Calvary Chapel Montreal Regeneration, a congregation that ministers to the French and English speakers of the city. Jason has served as the pastoral assistant and worship leader. Late in 2007, God began to give Jason a vision to minister to the people of his home by bringing Calvary Chapel to Spartanburg.

Jason, his wife Andrea, and their two children, Jacob and Sophie, returned from the mission field and moved to South Carolina at the end of June 2009.

Calvary Spartanburg started November 8th 2009 .
